I was referred to Dr. Murphy for ongoing shoulder pain. My initial consultation was brief—about three minutes long—during which he reviewed my MRI and recommended rotator cuff (RC) surgery. While his bedside manner was lacking, he seemed technically competent, so I proceeded with the surgery at his suggested facility, One Surgery Center. Dr Murphy was amazing. While explaining my diagnosis, he showed me on my x-ray and gave me a diagram for myself. He was patient and thorough. He answered my question with calm certainty and explained my treatment plan. I am grateful to have him for my treating physician. I highly recommend him.
