If you have an urgent eye problem, Dr. May creates the time to see you and help you.

Went to him for a check up. He said he was going to do laser treatment, it would make my vision clearer. He clearly did something wrong. Immediately after the treatment my vision was damaged. It was like there was a white cloud floating across my eye blocking my vision. The eye hurts all the time. It was absolutely a mistake that he made. Of course he would not admit or take responsibility. Is this the kind of person/doctor you want treating you? If you do use him remember I warned you. Do you really want to take the chance ... read more

As much as I like Dr May, I will never go back there again. I received a bill for $47. I went to their office and asked what it was for, since my insurance covers my visits. They informed me, it’s for Dr May “writing the prescription that I needed”! REALLY!? He charges $47 to write a prescription????? I have never been charged by any Dr in my 67 years a fee to write a prescription when needed by any Dr! Therefore I will never go back to him, nor will any of my friends go back to him, who see him either. I am still in shock o... read more

Dr May is great but the office staff isn't. The past 2 years I had appointment (each which I made a year in advance) 2020 appointment I was told when I arrived that Dr May was not in and I had to see another Dr. This year I got a call around 10 am the Friday before my 9 am Monday appointment that Dr May now does surgery on Monday's and I would need to reschedule. I aske why I wasn't notified earlier. Their response was "he just started doing surgery on Monday's". Apparently he started in Jan. and even though my appointment w... read more

I had a great experience with Dr. May. He was friendly, professional and went the extra mile to figure out my problem. His front office staff is very friendly and personable was well. I would recommend him to anyone and will be bringing my family to him.

Dr. May seems like a good doctor, but his office staff is horrible. They make the entire experience so unpleasant, that I will never go back. Katie is professional and friendly, but Melissa and the billing lady are difficult, unhelpful, and completely unwilling to provide god service. I have never experienced an office this bad. The glasses are all individually locked up. Even if I wanted to give them my business, it's impossible to get help. I went to Lenscrafters and now will find a new doctor

The staff at this office are very uncoordinated. Repeat appts and many co-pays later, I drop him as a provider. If I can't get past the office staff, god knows what may occur so he's getting no opportunity with our family. Staff is curt and unable, or unwilling, to accommodate patients needs.

I had cataract surgery and after a month I was having trouble with discomfort, the white of my eye was blood red for 3 weeks after surgery, and after a month was still very pink. I tried to make an appt. to see the dr., but the receptionist would not give me one because she claimed I had nothing to be concerned about. In follow up visits all I heard was that I was doing great, when clearly I was not.

I changed doctors after 30 years because the last pair of glasses I bought for $740 only a year ago was redone 5 times (exam done 5 times) & I still couldn't see out of them. I was apprehensive having only used the Internet as a guide, but I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. May's care. I especially liked Melissa who helped order my lenses & made adjustments.1st time out, I can finally see with the new lenses (same frames). I am very pleased & feel I have found my new eye doctor.
