On December 9, 2013 I was organizing the storage closet at work. I was lifting and moving a lot of very heavy bins, and in the midst of this, I ruptured two discs in the lumbar and sacral regions of my spine. The next day I went to work and I got to the parking garage stairs and I went to step down the stair and I just couldn’t do it. I have seen doctor Kane for about a year now. He is very kind, compassionate and works well with his patients. Never had any negative experiences here. :)
He was my husbands doctor. I went with him everytime. He never took his blood pressure, and he was prescribed blood pressure meds.... When a pain medication needed to be changed, he would suggest something that my husband had already tried and that reacted badly with him!!! He never looked as his chart to find out what he has already tried (if he even documented it!). His staff never returns phone calls. Very low Integrity, says one thing and doesn't follow through. Makes snap judgments when confronted with a difficult situation, and then acts irrationally by assuming people are dishonest.
My chronic pain has been reduced tremendously. I will be on meds forever, but I have learned many techniques that have reduced my meds by 50%. The staff is wonderful. I finally have a doctor that not only understands but "gets it". If you have chronic pain you MUST give this clinic your consideration.
The staff is very good. They know what they're doing, coordinate their efforts well, and are funny, professional, and warm.Dr. Kane is compassionate, careful, and a real patient advocate.
