Lacking. Brusque. Condescending.
I have seen him for over 30 years. He is compassionate and listens well with the best bedside manner possible. I never feel rushed in his office. He truly gives you his time and attention.

I saw Dr. H for a colonoscopy and EGD. I am also a nurse. I chose to see him out of this group because of his bedside manner and respect he shows to the nurses and his staff. I would recommend him to anyone needing a GI MD.
Dr H. is probably one of the most compassionate MDs I have ever met, and he is excellent, maybe to much so. I arrived for my 11 am appt at 10:45, only to find he was running 6 patients behind. I have complex PTSD, and am currently withdrawing from certain medicines due to new federal insurance guidelines, and could not wait for several hours, so I asked to reschedule. This was 2/7/2019. Next available 4/25/2019. Otherwise go to ER.... Office staff could give better accompdation, not his fault.
I agree the phone system sucks. I seriously needed a doctor's note for medical clearance and the phone system says they open at 8:00. I called between 8:00 and 8:05 and 'still closed'. When I pressed 3 to talk to the message system, she told me they open at 9:00. Very frustrating. The doctors themselves are excellent but their phone system makes me beyond irritated
Dr. Heine is the best Doctor that I have. He is genuinely concerned about my total health and takes the time to assure my medical needs are addressed.
Dr. Heine is friendly but focused on pertinent information. His staff is fine and their new offices are so much nicer. I think I've done 3 colonoscopies with Dr. Heine and have not had a problem. ahortly after the procedure Baptist sends you his report, complete with pictures. Then you go back in tywoi weeks to discuss results with Dr. Heine in person.
