Have been on waiting list for surgery for over 18 months. Almost impossible to get a call back and when I am able to talk to someone I’ve been told so many different things, from “you’re up next” to “I can’t find your information anywhere.” Meanwhile I’m in a lot of pain. I’ve never encountered a more disorganized and unprofessional office.
Dr Sunschein is knowledgeable but beware of his office billing. Wait for your bill to process through insurance instead of paying anything upfront.
I was able to schedule an appointment quickly in spite of being a new patient. Dr. Sunshein treated my ingrown toenail the day of my first appointment, not requiring a second appointment for the procedure. I am very happy with the outcome.
If you want to be talked down to and have expensive products pushed on you every visit, this is your guy. Otherwise don’t bother, he doesn’t care about actually resolving issues anyways.

Dr Sheinshein is more about lining his pockets with patient's money then really helping them. I purchased orthotics from him that do not fit correctly and even after multiple adjustments they hurt my feet and are contributing to knee issues. Sheinshein doesn't know how to correct them and one time said he would take make another pair at no charge but refused the last time I saw him. He lies. and cares little about really helping. Dr. Sunshein has been 30 to 60 minutes late for every appointment I have ever had with him. He did surgery on my foot to remove some arthritis and we almost lost the OR because he was 45 minutes late, I was his first appointment. I just had a follow up appointment with him yesterday and finally saw him 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. He didn't want to actually hear me talk. After 2 years my orthopedics are still uncomfortable. My appointment with Dr Sunshein did little to help.
I made the mistake of seeing Dr Sunshein and that turned out to be a big disappointment. The guy gives a marketing spew about how good his orthotics are. But when pressed with some questions, he got defensive and somewhat arrogant and told me I was paying to get the advice of a trained expert and I can basically leave if I do not want it. A doctor should be able to gain his patient’s trust through his approach, actions, and politeness. I would not recommend this podiatrist.
