We have eating here 2or3 times during our 2week vacation since it was MacDaddys, best shrimp and grits on OBX, Ray and Debbie and family
Loved the 2 times that we ate here in Sepember 2015. Service was exceptional and the food was wonderful. Nice large portions. The waitstaff were terrific. This will be our go to place in September 2016. We can't wait to return. The shrimp & grits were the best I have ever eaten!!
3 or 4 empty tables and we walk in with no one sitting and waiting, and were told by the hostess there was an hour wait? Thanks but no thanks!! Mad Crabber got our money.
Giving 3 stars because we got a free drink for being so patient. Waited more than an hour for a table. There was a wedding party on one side of the place and empty tables on the other. Apparently they don't seat or serve when they are backed up. They were out of shrimp and my fish and scallops were mediocre to say the least. My potatoes were cold. If I could give less than one star I would. On July 18 2015 we were spending our last night out for dinner. Had to wait over an hour for a table and another hour for our food. Food was served cold and we simply left, never to return!
Started AWFUL! Thanks for turning it around and keeping us loyal Ketch 55 customers! We will see you next year!
