AWFUL! On 2/7/24 Dr. Thanki performed what was supposed to be a routine colonoscopy on my mother but he tore/ruptured her spleen during procedure so she had to have emergency surgery to remove spleen, been in ICU for 2 weeks. Dr. Thanki didn't even check on his patient until 5 days later and after we filed a grievance. He said it happens once out of 10,000 surgeries. How many times has this happened? How times has this happened & will it happen again? The public has a right to know.

Highest Rating Well Deserved I have seen Dr. Ketan Thanki twice recently, and although my condition is not yet completely resolved, I respect his approach to my treatment, he isn't quick to jump right to surgery, as he determined that wasn't at all necessary at this point, and laid out a simple plan going forward.
