I’m writing this to warn other parents about Kessinger’s Health in Rolla. I had an extremely upsetting experience with a blood draw. I warned the woman doing the draw that my child had already had a traumatic experience with needles, and is extremely nervous. The nurse pulled the needle out, and put it in view of my child before I had a chance to distract her. As soon as my child saw the needle, she immediately said “wait, I change my mind”. There's a certain "attitude" (maybe "arrogance"?) in the staff. They are comfortable barking out orders/ commands but are short on friendly communication. I had the unfortunate occasion to visit for a new hire drug screen, but I can say without a doubt I wouldn't go back. I felt rushed through the whole process. It's just not for me.
