Referred to Dr. Kersten by my oral surgeon Dr. Rea after badly breaking my jaw. My teeth needed to be corrected because my jaw shifted due to my severe injury. At first Dr. Kersten seemed great and promised to help fix my teeth. However, once I mentioned that I was on PWD and asked if he would help me apply for funding through the ministry, he said my teeth didn’t need braces and he showed me the door.
