Prompt service from when the appraisal was ordered through the lender. Company always answers when an update was needed. Courteous and professional!
Very unpleasant experience with Kernea appraisals. Home was initially appraised at what seemed a lower value for the market and area. Then just 3 days prior to closing, the home was re-valued for less than the original appraisal. When I reached out as to why that occurred, I was met with fluffy answers that didn't explain how a home would be lowered in value especially right before closing. My phone call was never answered or returned. Only response I received was through text message. Would not recommend.
They agree to set up, pay set up and after 3 weeks they did not set up a time to do and not answer phone. Loan company had to reschedule another appraiser. Now it’s been a 5 weeks to able to close on house and only because if they didn’t want to do it. They should notify so not have to wait close on house. Bad professionalism!
