A local gem hidden away in Ft Myers. Great food. Friendly staff that knows your name. Beer Cheese Soup Is the best around. Chef always has a unique blend of flavors in his dishes. Deserts of amazing, take one to go if you are too full. If you like hamburgers, get one here, it's how a burger is supposed to taste.

Continuing on with Jean Le Boeuf's 27 Gems took our choice to the Kenwood Lane Grill. This was another excellent place to eat. This restaurant is hidden behind the Kenwood Bowling Lanes where there is no traffic. Turn onto to road next to the Olive Garden and follow it down around the curve and look to your right and you will see it. We were the first ones there at their opening for dinner. The atmosphere at Kenwood Lane Grill was great. Nice outside waiting area, comfortable and nicely decorated dinning room, and a great garden theme, outdoor eating area. The food was amazing, although a little pricey. But the muffin shaped bread, beer/cheese soup, and port with bacon/Bourban sauce were all amazing. Well worth the price and the visit. Well hidden treasure.
