I wish there was an option for 0 stars. The ER is filthy the staff is rude and the wait times are absolutely ridiculous!!! Worst hospital I have ever seen or been to!
It does have good doctors,but rooms need to be cleaner than what they are.I was here for 13 days and the housekeeping didn't come to clean my room for 3 days. But I hope it's not staph again. Have had it 3 times already. 2 PORT INFECTIONS AND 1 pick line.nurses are really good.but not the cleanest hospital that ive been in.
Thanks for the excellent care I received for 9 days during my stay at downtown Jewish from the 15th to the 24th. this month. From ICU to CCU then to the next step down unit I can truly say I was taken care of with complete intensiveness and preciseness. The transporters along with the dietary workers, environmental and all professional staff were all in sync. It made getting well so much easier and help take the fear of the process. I would like to know why you send out the bill before the insurance co pay their portion . My wife went to the EMR at brooks Jan 12 2014 I first received a bill saying I owed $31.10 the bill was pretty much blank I sent it back asking for some kind of info for what it was for. You sent it back several months later with only Medicare's portion being paid. I called you said that they had to wait for Medicare before they sent it to UHC.
