Always a pleasant, warm experience here. I enjoy the food. My hot chocolate was delicious!

If I could check no stars, I would have. I went here, expecting this wonderfully warm atmosphere - it could not have been farther from the truth. Apparently, unless you are a regular here or part of their "crowd" they could care less about you. I have never been treated as rudely and ridiculously as I was there - including waiting for over 10 minutes to even place my order - watching my order be set aside, and the next gentleman (who they knew by name), got his order filled WHILE I STILL STOOD THERE! This warm and comfortable cafe is one of the many reasons to cone visit (or live in) Frankfort. it's quickly becoming a home away from home for us here. Friendly and funny staff, surprisingly tasty food, and above all, good coffee. If you drink, try the cucumber basil gin cocktail.
Some really friendly people work there. They have some pretty interesting events from time to time. It is a very hip atmosphere I think that’s how I would describe it. The food is worth the price in my humble opinion. The best part of their menu are the soups and I would recommend the chili whole heartedly. It is connected to a bookstore which instantly makes it a must visit because both of those places feel very welcoming. I love the Coffeetree Cafe! It's a great local coffee shop. Such an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. They've got great coffee, food, and a friendly staff. They host and support local bands, and are involved in many local events. If you're visiting Frankfort, add this destination to your 'things to do' list!
