On 8/4/20, my 4 year old daughter had a dentist appointment at Kentuckiana Pediatric Dentistry with Dr. Mitchell at the Shepherdsville location. This was our first visit at this location and she had a cavity that needed worked on. At the beginning of our check up we had an amazing experience with the dental assistant, they were very patient, comforting, and welcoming. I will never bring my son back to Dr Mitchell! He is beyond rude with terrible bed side manner. I have no idea why he’s in the field of PEDIATRIC dentistry. If you’re going to work with kids then you need to interact in a kid friendly way! I have taken my son 3 times and each time Dr M has had an attitude towards the hygienist, myself, and my son. RecommendedI took my little boy to the dentist for the first time today he is 4 and he came out smiling. The staff here were so patient and took their time with my son and made sure he felt at home and not scared at all. I don’t know the lady’s name who did the teeth cleaning and xrays but she was over and beyond the best to my son, you would have thought she had known him forever. I would recommend this place to anyone with kids!
