I had my first appointment and he was very kind and knew my labs and history before he even came in the door. He was very detail oriented and you can tell He was empathetic. My ob that delivered my daughter was no longer. I went to another before him she was very brash. It was refreshing to have someone who truly was there for serving his calling and not money. He made me feel safe after my last birth trauma to try for another baby with my husband.
Best doctor I’ve seen in years. 10/10 recommend. He listens, is knowledgeable and has the best bedside manner. He has handled my medical needs in a professional and compassionate capacity, answered all of my questions and concerns without judgement and is extremely efficient to make my visits as quick as possible!
My daughter who is on the autism spectrum needed a hysterectomy. Dr. Abernathy was so patient and kind and answered all of her questions. She wasn't fearful going into surgery and has made a wonderful recovery.
Dr Abernathy is kind and courteous. He listened and honored my labor and delivery choices yet ensured I received a safe labor and delivery by steering me in the right direction. I'm glad I listened to him. I will continue seeing Dr Abernathy for OBGYN patient services. His nurse is also very kind.
