If you need a GREAT ob/gyn, do yourself a huge favor and make an appointment with Dr. Abernathy ASAP! He is the most kind, compassionate, doctor I've ever had. He performed my surgery 2 days ago and it went great. He even asked to pray with my husband and me before the surgery. He always asks what questions I have and gives thoughtful informative answers. Let’s be clear. My issue is not with Dr. Abernathy at all. I highly recommend him. He’s a wonderful doctor. He was amazing during my pregnancy in 2023 with my daughter and with my postpartum care. I have no issues with him and I did not have any with his office during this time. My issue is with his PA, Brandy, and the office staff. There is a severe lack of organization and communication. In August of this year I found out I was pregnant. His office was quick to schedule me labs, ultrasounds and appts. I mean, I called and ... read more
He was so kind and quick! He told me every option I had and explained each one thoroughly. He allowed me to make the decision and fully supported it. I am happy that he will be doing my surgery. I highly recommend him.
I had my first appointment and he was very kind and knew my labs and history before he even came in the door. He was very detail oriented and you can tell He was empathetic. My ob that delivered my daughter was no longer. I went to another before him she was very brash. It was refreshing to have someone who truly was there for serving his calling and not money. He made me feel safe after my last birth trauma to try for another baby with my husband.
