Dr. Nilsson rode in on his white horse, wearing scrubs, shot first and asked questions later! Had no idea of the patient history, asked questions, but didn't listen to answers. Repeated questions, had no idea of a treatment plan and said 'See you in 6 months.' Not patient centered.
I have been Dr. Nilsson’s patient for nine years and I believe there are none better. He is educated in the newest technology and explains the need clearly. He has been patiently doing all he can to address my Afib. His staff, especially NP Vonnie Chesser, are just as professional and knowledgeable. Excellent, professional medical care with clear communication.
After a-fib & a-flutter ablations I had chest heaviness, inability to speak due to coughing, difficulty swallowing/digesting food, dangerously low BP & HR. When calls were finally returned, seemed dismissive. I implored PA to pls speak personally w/Dr. Nilsson. She called bk; sd he replied "it wasn't his fault" & for me to "go to an urgent care center." I wasn't trying to place blame!! Was seeking help fm surgeon I thot wd care for me thru healing process! Wd NEVER recommend him to loved one.
Dr. Nilsson's diagnosis and surgical treatment for atrial fibrillation was a life changing experience for me. His compassion and genuine concern are evident as he takes the time to listen and identify with his patients. He is very approachable yet professional. I highly recommend him! The support staff are highly efficient and caring as well.
Absolutely the best. Knowledgeable, vast experience, great bedside manner, kind. My husband had surgery with Dr. Nilsson and his concern and follow up were outstanding. I appreciate that he includes me (wife) to be sure I also have my concerns addressed.
