I took hubby here for low blood pressure and chest pain… reception lady was very rude and told him that if he was able to walk it was not emergent enough to be seen immediately… they did EKG, blood work/catheter for IV, and chest x-rays after half-hour and sat him in the waiting room for almost 5 hours… I would ask for updates when he would be taken back but the same woman was very rude and told us to wait out turn… older woman with short hair… until he was taken back to the examination area… I was not allowed to go back wit... read more

I had surgery at Kent Hospital and the nurses, cna and everyone was professional, kind and caring. I received very good care and I was truly impressed. I would recommend Kent Hospital above all I have been to, even RI hospital. To the staff at Kent hospital, keep up the good work some of us are truly grateful.

This place should be shut down. Horrific long waits. Staff has no compassion left. This ER needs the whole staff replaced. I think about moving just to have a better hospital close to me.

I’ve been to Kent Hospital more times than I can count over the past few years, and somehow every experience has been worse than the last. The staff are often rude, dismissive, and act like you’re bothering them for needing medical care. Instead of listening, they make you feel ignored and like your concerns don’t matter. There have been multiple times where the way I was treated made me seriously question whether proper procedures and standards were being followed. The short black haired older woman at the reception triage desk where you first check in at the ER is the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever met in my years of being in and out of hospitals. She is incredibly ignorant and cold, and has absolutely no compassion or respect to anyone whether they are here to be seen or here to visit someone. She should NOT be working in the healthcare industry.
