Awful. It seems that no one cares, probably one of the worse emergency departments around. I sat for over 4 hours saw sick people come and go because the wait and care were horrible. I just don’t understand how a place like this stays open. If staffing is a problem then administrators should step up.
I never appreciated other emergency departments until I had the total and complete displeasure of walking into Kent. While the total number of ppl waiting isn’t really their problem but how they process them is. There was people there waiting to see a doctor for over 5 hrs. Security is an absolute joke. You get screened, and once you get a badge you can walk in and out without getting checked again. (Huge loophole) They had people projectile vomiting sitting next to a gentleman who was 100 yrs old. My wife was taken there by ambulance with uncontrollable nausea and chest pain and was made to wait over 6 hours in the waiting room. Worst ER experience I have ever had. Your better off going somewhere else unless you have hours of time to waste.
