I waited an hour and twenty minutes in an uncomfortable chair. When I finally saw Dr Kent I mentioned the wait. He didn't seem to appreciate the slight criticism. Spent 4 .minutes with me and left. No explanation or apology for the long wait.
Dr. Kent has taken excellent care of my, and my family's eyes, for several years now. He is a caring and considerate doctor and I recommend him highly.
I saw Dr. Kent for cataract surgery in Fall 2020. After a multifocal lens implant, my vision was worse than it had ever been. I could not see near or far. I started using Dollar Store readers 275 to be able to see up close. I could not see to drive. The sclera of my eyes always a healthy white was bloodshot & grey looking. So disappointed that my prescription was not sent to my pharmacy until end of day...phone receptionist said that was usual practice on a busy day. I saw Dr. at 10:00 am, but no Rx at my pharmacy at 4:00 pm. I am Senior, also very busy, too. Now I have to make SECOND TRIP to pharmacy today to pick up what I should have started using last night. No explantation of this policy at the Office.
Dr. Kent is kind, knowledgeable, & clear in his descriptions & recommendations; I recommend him highly. Dr. Kent is unfazed by patients who are active participants in their health care. He provided the information & resources I need to keep my eyes healthy. His office in Meridian is pleasant & his staff is helpful. I was riveted by the amazing wildlife videos playing on the wide screens in the waiting area & charmed by the presence of a handy coat rack in the bathroom.
