If you are looking for peace and comfort, this place is not for you. The landlord imposes outrageous fees, harasses tenants over payments, and retaliates if you speak up or raise concerns.

Lived here for 4 years for grad school. Many issues with the old building infrastructure, outdated system and bad management/maintenance, but the most frustrating issue was that the bathtub didn’t drain properly. The water pools on the far end and doesn’t reach the drain unless manually scooped out with a dustpan. We reported it, and maintenance admitted the issue but said it would cost them $10k to fix, so they told us to just deal with it. The management publicly shames tenants who are late on rent—just one example of how unprofessional and unethical they are. Repair requests are ignored, tenants are blamed for maintenance issues, and outrageous charges are added without justification. Many issues with these old buildings. The heater barely works in winter, and rain water seeps into closets. Everything is outdated and semi-functional, just covered up with thick paint to hide the wear. The bathtub doesn’t drain—you literally have to scoop out dirty water by hand after every shower. Walls are paper-thin—you’ll hear your neighbors walking and talking clearly.
