I'm a current tenant (been here for almost 2 years), and I have overall mixed feelings about this place. Rent was cheap at move in; while it is still more affordable than other, newer complexes, we had our rent bumped up almost $100 in the span of 2-3 months with no work or upgrades done to our apartment, only typical maintenance (air filters, spraying for German roaches [technically done by a 3rd party]). I have lived at Kensington Park apartments since 2009.The staff have already treated me fair and been very professional. They are responsible and respectful and very detailed when it comes to services. I have gotten over 3 to 4 friends of mine to move in over the years. Overall lm very pleased with my living arrangements. This is a very nice place to live.
Used to live here because it was cheap, even though the place sucks. It's far from everything, dated and has had maintenance issues since move in that were never addressed. Landlord slapped a notice on my door saying rent was going up 200+ bucks, and for a place with rotting baseboards and bats in the walls it's just not worth it. Found a new place and let them know i was moving, they seemed annoyed that I bothered to call.
