I graduated from my program in July and was moving to Lancaster for a job starting in September. Between July and end of August, I was busy studying for my exam in Philadelphia. Therefore, I was not able to travel to Lancaster to see any apartments. I googled apartments in Lancaster and Kensington club came up as a choice. I looked at their website and it was beautiful. Received a check in the mail a couple years ago as others had filed lawsuit against them because they were charging $75 for move out inspection. Made no sense because inspection is required yet they were charging. But they should also be sued for charging a decoration fee of $300 whether you are decorating the apartment or not. The issue isn’t really charging the decoration fee upfront. Because upon moving in tenant may change their mind and repaint walls to the color of their choosing ect. but upon move out even if NO redec... read more
Moved in 11/12-2022,handed in my inspection of the apartment by 11/15-2022 noting fire extinguisher empty.Sent texts,emails, called,spoke to Julia 2/16-2023 who was going to look into. Still nothing. I had to get pushy to have black mold looked into,about 2 months later,advised"area"of drywall cut out,I requested to view area before wall enclosed,same day,maintainance had it done by time I got home??. Supposedly,Maintainance is taught how to detect mold with a device that detects it. "Security"door in back doesn't lock & out... read more
