I have had a very good experience with Dr.Wells. He genuinely cares about my overall well being and listens carefully to my concerns, gives good advice and allows me to be a real part of my care. I am female and I have never felt patronized by him. He does make me do the work I need to do to help myself as I believe any good doctor would.
After waiting wks. I meet a therapist. Had really good session. Looked forward to working w/him. Wks later I met w/Dr Wells. Flipped through records from another doctor, who I seen & retired. He asked what did I want along w/a few other questions. Didn't agree w/a previous diagnosis of which therapist in his office had same diagnosis. Indicated I had diagnosised myself & was there only to get meds. Said drive was too far(40min) & most likely wouldn't maintain appts. Referred to family doc
My son has been battling depression for years so a few weeks ago his family dr sent a referral to Dr Wells. A couple of weeks later his office called me to get a lot of information the dr needs before he sees him that included in detail the extent of my sons depression which is critical. Over a week later I hadn't heard back from them so I called. The receptionist informed me that he was overloaded with patients and not seeing any new ones. We wasted 3 weeks of precious time!! Not happy!!!!
DR WELLS HAS HELPED ME A LOT AND HAS MY MEDS WORKING FOR ME NOT AGAINST ME I AM SO MUCH MORE AT EASE THEN I WAS ..I HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO MY FRIENDS AND KEVEN IS THE BEST TO TALK TO ABOUT THINGS...HE IS VERY HELPFUL,,,THE STAFF HAS ALWAYS BEEN GREAT ALSO
Wouldn't consider talking to my mom about taking her off some medications
