Longtime patient. After growing dissatisfaction at the perfunctory and borderline-dismissive nature of my office visits, I consulted with another endo in town. I learned more about my medication in 15 minutes with her than I had in several years with Dr. Tompkins. When I requested to have my records transferred, nobody in the practice reached out to me to ask why. You can draw your own conclusions about that; I certainly did.
Dr Thompkins was an educator as well as a good doctor. He took his time and seemed genuinely engaged. I felt comfortable and understood.
Dr Thompkins is GREAT! He is so knowledgeable, in many areas of medicine, not just his specialty. He is so friendly, and personable. Dr Thompkins knows how to talk and relate to people. Dr Thompkins most importantly has ethics and integrity. I am so blessed to have him as my Dr.
I don't understand why I was given an appointment 4 months out.
