Dr Austin has left his old practice (Northeast Orthopedics) and is practicing with a new one. His treatment of my knee is and has always been wonderful. I will follow him where ever he moves.
Dr. Austin was awesome! I was worried that I had stress fractures (I did not have them), he took my pain seriously and got me x-rays. He had wonderful bedside manner and a great sense of humor. He gave me good advice for how to heal in a practical way that didn't keep me away from sports and activities for too long. Dr Austin is a very knowledgeable and well trained orthopedist. He took the time necessary to diagnose and then treat a condition that others missed. I highly recommend him.
Dr Austin’s treatment of my knee pain was wonderful. I am back to all my physical activities pain free!
Dr. Austin is incompetence personified. He is also very rude and arrogant. Stay away from him if you can
I saw Dr Austin two years ago. This is a rude insensitive man. He is more concerned with insulting his patients than helping them. I’ll never go back!
Dr. Austin let my finger heal crooked after my finger fractures. I asked to be seen by a hand specialist when I called but ended up scheduled with Dr. Austin, the hip specialist. I was informed that I wouldn't be seen that day if I wanted to wait for the hand specialist. Since my fingers were broken, I decided to see Austin. I told him my finger looked crooked to me. He told me "everything lined up". A month later cast comes off, he chuckles when he tells me I'm crooked. Now its permanent
The fact that this office is the only show in town is pathetic. The office staff is unprofessional and rude. Too busy texting about schedules and allowing the whole waiting room know about it. Dr. Austin is insensitive to his patients need. Brought my 12 year old for back pain from paying at school. Without any hesitation Dr. Austin says he has Scoliosis take him to a surgeon he'll know what to do and walked out!!!? The whole practice should be shut down.
I wish i had read the reviews for Doctor Austin prior to having him treat me. i agree with the previous reviews that accurately indicate he is arrogant and an as*hole. He appears to be actually annoyed that he has to treat a patient. I had an MRI done which did disclose a problem with my spine and he did not explain what the MRI disclosed. I changed to another Doctor in the same network and i am completely satisfied. The new Dr explained in detail the results of the MRI and recommended treatment
