I have the same issue as a few of the other reviewers: the quality of his work, which used to be outstanding, is just no longer there. He just seems to really hate his job, is rough in his treatment, and really doesn't care to listen to the patient at all. I overheard him in another room talking with another patient, and he said' it used to be that patience would never question a doctor. Now. Patients think they have to ask doctors all these questions. Worst experience ever. Poor treatment results, terrible communications, rough manner. Like the other reviewer here, I had to go to another dentist to correct and repeat the treatment. Would not listen to questions or concerns, discuss or offer options.
He used to be a great dentist, but the past several years has become an arrogant, abrasive doctor who refuses to listen to the patient's concerns or take responsibility for his flubs. I normally am willing to put up with attitude from a doctor or professional IF they are outstanding at what they do. This is not the case with this guy. Had to go back multiple times for him to "fix" issues that his treatments had created, and I am STILL having issues. I was able to go in immediately with an infection in my mouth. Dr. Pickett explained what showed up in my xrays & told me about the options that I had. Very friendly staff.
