A knowledgeable Neurologist, but can have a cocky attitude at times.

Superb physician. took the time to work out a treatment plan for my condition. Caring and knowledgeable. Other neurologists did not offer the same care and concern he does. I would recommend him strongly to anyone.

Will order procedures and tests just to make a buck. Will tell you his procedure made you better when it didn't. Staff is nice until they are caught in a lie.

Dr. Martinez literally turned my life around with his careful analysis of test results and treatment over the past 4 years. I was on a downward path physically and mentally before a Physical Therapist suggested that I see him. That led to real changes in my life. Dr. M is devoted to quality care as manifested by his excellent staff and their talents. He spares nothing to enhance our lives. I worked in a professional capacity for over 20 years with many Neurologists but while I hold most of them in high regard, I never encoun... read more

I had two appointments with Dr. Martinez, the first of which was great. He expressed curiosity and what appeared at the time as a genuine interest in helping me get to the bottom of my symptoms. He said he’d investigate as deep as I’d like him to which was a relief to hear after a year of mysterious symptoms. He ran some tests, gave me a prescription to see if it would have any effect and told me to return in a few weeks and hopefully have some answers. The follow up appointment was a disaster. When I reported new symptoms a... read more

What a blessing that I was referred to Dr. Martinez. I had been having strange numbness in my legs for almost a year. I got MRI's, a consultation from a neurosurgeon, and countless physical therapy treatments. Dr. Martinez diagnosed me with a vitamin B6 deficiency. It turns out, I was taking way too much in the form of a "super B complex" vitamin thinking this would help my nerve issues. I might have gone on forever doing damage to my nerves but Dr. Martinez discovered the problem after his consultation and a nerve test as w... read more

Dr. Martinez totally misdiagnosed me, causing much more pain, suffering, and loss of healing time. I agree with the condescending attitude already stated from other reviewers and the low rating of his office staff. He treated me like a child instead of an adult (I saw him for myself, not for my child). He didn't even examine me before his diagnosis--instead had his PA examine me and then he came in stating, "I'm so sorry no other doctor has told you this, but it's completely obvious to me that you have peripheral neuropathy.... read more

Dr. Martinez is a pompous and condescending doctor who limits your questions. He incompletely diagnosed my BELL‘S PALSY and did not offer proper treatment. Had I listened to his advice of doing nothing, there is a 50% chance my face would still be half-paralyzed according to medical literature. I have a PhD in Neurobiology, and my husband and I had to point out to Dr. Martinez that my Bell‘s Palsy was caused by the chicken pox virus (Ramsay Hunt). Even then, he said there was nothing he could do since I was pregnant. But I f... read more

Dr. Martinez is the best doctor I have ever visited. He found my diagnosis within my first visit and has had me on a great plan since then. I love how the office is family friendly and encourages their patients to bring a friend or family member to their appointments. Dr. Martinez has always been able to answer any questions I have, and he takes time to do additional research and share that with my husband and me. I have been seeing Dr. Martinez consistently for 3 years and recommend him to anyone who is in need of a neurolo... read more
