Today is it, the day of days that some of the pain goes away! Been waiting for this day a long time. It's the day that my Boston Scientific Pain Stimulator is implanted. Dr Kenneth Choi and his PA Stephanie Edward's are wonderful. They have suggested and followed through with options that leave me pain free most days. My improvement is keeping me up and running!
First visit to Dr Choi's office. Real people who treat potential patients like real people. Courteous and professional. Willing to listen. Willing to respond. Dr Choi sets the example. We spoke freely and frankly about expectations, commitment and treatments. We realized that both his office and myself had tasks that needed actions before our next appointment. We defined and assigned those actions. My wife and I left the office confident in receiving effective and timely care.
So far so good! Dr Choi and his NP didn't make me feel rushed, actually looked at me while I was talking to them, and seemed to take all the factors of my condition into account before moving forward to schedule pain management procedures. I haven't felt this listened to in quite a while, and it's very refreshing.
Dr Choi was very friendly and answered all my questions. He explained the details of my pain situation and how to treat it.
