Lack of transparency in billing. Overcharged. Therapist triggered my child so bad he hated go to sessions. By the third visit that just deteriorated into chaos and getting a bill for over $2,000, I was done and was so jaded on therapy after this experience we avoided getting a therapist for a year. Turns out Kennedy Kreger just sucked. Our new therapist was great and the one after that one.
We have been with Kennedy Krieger for the past year and it's like pulling teeth to get an answers any clear straight answers my child has hyper sensitive sensory issues and all they can say is everything that he has is caused by diabetes. My child has had hypersensitive sensory issues since 5 years old my child was diagnosed with diabetes at 13 I'm not sure how the diabetes caused my child's sensory issues before he was even diagnosed with diabetes. I have had nothing but good experiences at Kennedy Krieger in the past but this location is the worst when it comes to compassion and just humanity. At least the staff my child saw today. I honestly felt today was only a money grab because my concerns were not addressed. I thought coming to Kennedy Krieger parents and doctors are a team. I didn’t feel that at all. The appointment process is so cumbersome and easy things are really hard to get done here. My life is hard already. There has to be better help out there.
