Made glasses with an incorrect prescription. I used the same prescription elsewhere, and got the right glasses made on the same frame. Wrote to them, no accountability taken. Moreover, the first time I went to pick them up, they were closed despite it not being before closing time. Horrid experience from A-Z.
The Visit and Prescription Issue: My boyfriend visited Kenmore Optical for a routine contact lens exam. The location is quite small and cramped, with very limited nearby parking. After receiving his new prescription and paying the visitation fee, he picked up his contacts a few weeks later. While a small office, they are always ready with appts.. Dr Folgar gave me a complete examination and found an issue that no one else found! One stop shopping, examination, I picked out a great pair of designer frames, and a week later my new glasses were ready. Parking wasn’t too bad A++++
Final edit (to protect consumers): Do not trust anything this business claims. Lie after lie, and I have call records/paperwork to back it up. Insurance has documentation of them rebilling incorrectly multiple times. No other optometrist ever asks for medical because they are not doctors (OD vs MD), I am in healthcare.
