RecommendedI broke my wrist in August (3 days before leaving to Spain, Greece 7 day cruise, Turkey, back to Greece, Spain & finally home. My cast was so very well cushioned & I went on my 3 week trip. Only to find out that somehow I broke another bone which needed surgery & one week later I was in therapy. Tomorrow will be the beginning of my 3rd week therapy session. All my therapists are in awe of the surgery considering he had to break 2 bones & cut through the ligaments. I wanted to thank Kendall Regional Medical Center from the bottom of my heart for the excellent care that my son received in the trauma bay by the trauma team; in the ER and in PICU ( nurses Eileen, Mandy and Carlos, intensivist Dr Garcia and neurologist Dr Báez) God bless you for your skills, diligence, compassion and professionalism. I been trying to park for the past 30 minutes. Worst. Place ever
Been here since 6am in outpatient waiting room. At 10 am say something b/c it’s sweltering. First they investigate, then the construction contractor tells me we are building a hospital on top of a hospital bare with us. It’s complicated mechanical things etc..Now 2 hours later they look like they are putting in some type of portable unit. There are also patients waiting for surgery who are fasting. Most definitely not patient centered care... Unbelievable... never again.
