I had an appointment with the ophthalmologist today. I arrived late because I was in a car accident and couldn't make it by the scheduled time. I tried to explain why I was late, but the receptionist showed absolutely no professionalism or empathy—especially considering I am a senior citizen. She just kept repeating that I had to pay $25.00, and her attitude was rude and abrasive; I don't know how she holds a job there..
