I went by this place this past week, at a significant detour from my route. It does have quite a few things that I think were interesting and that I would like to take home.. however.. The owner and his daughter have insane pricing on everything. There was an untested Compaq 286 laptop priced for $500! An obviously water damaged original Tandy 1000 for $250! Untested Commodore 1541 drives for $85! I found a box of untested Apple II floppy drives, and after hemming and hawing for a few minutes, he decided that he wanted $40..... read more

Went to Kemner's Surplus It's a great local business met both the father and daughter team they were more than helpful in helping me find what I was looking for, and the prices are great for second chance items. I definitely recommend going and trying there before going to home Depot Lowe's or walmart. The warehouse is a little hard to find if going for the first time but you can find it right off south Washington St on the left hand side. A huge warehouse of ancient electronics, audio gear, test gear, computers, albums, etc, etc. If you are a hoarder like me, stay AWAY from this place. It is a candy store for collectors and tinkerers.
