Very caring man. Efficient and clear with explanations. Excellent surgeon.
Excellent. I will always remember his first words on meeting me were "let me reassure you that on the scale of good to bad, this is closer to the good than the bad" That statement alone was worth a lot to a worried patient.
Dr. Yu is not only brilliant and kind but funny too. I am so glad that he is part of my medical team. I recommend him to anyone - especially to those that like explanations on diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Yu completed my breast surgery last Thursday and I am extremely pleased with the results. It was my first time being operated on and I had a two inch mass removed; I was fearful of cosmetic purposes as well as the actual procedure being done but Dr. Yu’s work was impeccable. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Yu performed my thyroidectomy surgery in 2015 due to Papillary Thyroid cancer. I would recommend him because he was kind, compassionate and very professional.
Dr. Yu may be a good surgeon but he is a bad human being. Mistreats hospital staff by berating them just because he can. Surgeons rarely get disciplined for that if they bring in the $$. Dr. Yu should be ashamed of himself.

Dr. Yu had exactly the right tone in speaking to me about my condition. He was very kind, but direct and thorough in his explanations. He never exhibited any hurry to get through the appointment, always listening to my questions and answering patiently and comprehensively. He is very articulate and clearly very skilled. I felt that he was on top of every issue concerning my health issues, and came to trust him completely. His office runs efficiently, and scheduled my appointments quickly.
