Once in the chair, there were absolutely no add ons or scare tactics. I actually only paid for the exam! Since I had not been to the dentist in a year and a half, I had quite a bit of gum irritation which required some scaling by Melissa, the hygienist. I had to have the same procedure done by a dentist in Fort Lauderdale, and they charged me an additional $800! There was no extra fee from Dr, Keith's office. Like so many of us, I'm always terrified to go to the dentist. I'm not really so bothered by the drills or cavities, but feel that most dentists are some of the best con artists out there. Dr. Keith and his staff offered such a different experience than what I'm used to with dentists. Upon letting them know that I did not have dental insurance, the receptionist let me know that they had recently run a coupon in a local magazine offering a free cleaning with examination. I too have been with Dr. Keith for years-- actually since he began practicing dentistry. He is an artist, who takes great pride in his work; he has an easy-going, compassionate chair-side presence; is professional, thorough, and inspires confidence in his work. All of the office staff are SUPERB. I am a new patient of Dr. Keith's and I have to tell you that he is AWESOME!! It's very rare that you find a doctor that will actually call a patient - not his nurse or assistant, him!! The entire team at his office is phenomenal. Dr Keith will spend the time to explain exactly what needs to be done and go over options with you. His assistant Kelly ROCKS, so friendly and fun!!!
