I saw Dr Raether for the first time in February 2020 for a contact exam. I'm not sure if it was because it was my first visit, because I am diabetic or just the norm, but it was one of the most thorough exams I've ever had. During the exam Dr. Raether discovered what she thought was a tear in my left retina and immediately called over to the retina specialist in Lake Forest requesting an urgent visit that same day. Called over a month ago to inquire about refraction. Had a full eye exam in July by another Dr but was uncertain about my prescription and wanted it re-evaluated. The assistant said she would inquire about it and get back to me. She called back and said they would make an exception because I had had a complete eye exam this year and would allow me to have just the refraction so I made the appointment.
