I went to see this doctor two days ago for my incontinence issues. The whole time in that exam room, I was made feeling rushed. She did not gave me a chance to ask any questions. She was apparently assuming that I had a general incontinence issue (I had a specific complaint), so without asking, she told me there were two options, to use a device pessary, or to have a surgery. What surgery? No explanations. Then she gave me a urine test, why urine test? No explanations, just do it. Then when it’s time to do an internal exam, ... read more
I felt traumatized after the exam. Made me feel like I was some kind of freak down there. Maybe she was having a bad day but I've been to a lot of gyns and have never come away feeling like I was disfigured down there. thankfully I'm not a young person or she would have ruined my self esteem in that area.
The office was very efficient and I liked the nurse, but Dr. Jirshele was very intense and I felt like she talked at me rather than with me. Also she used one word to describe a condition but then gave me a med and paper on it with a different name that is not even really the same thing. Dr very positive about outcomes. Outcome was not what was expected. Prolapse after surgery was not accepted by Dr. Identified by OBgyn, sent back to Jirschele and acknowledged. Disappointed in outcome and treatment by Dr. Life goes on. Could have gone on without major surgery. Sad to have experienced all the prep and recovery without benefits.
I had a hysterectomy in 2016 Other doctor wanted to have urologist together, because of my complicated situation. I had two opinions before I met this doctor. I didn't need to look father. She has the greatest qualifications as a doctor and very caring. I highly recommend to everyone who needs urologist and gynecologist in one doctor. You won't be disappointed.
Puts you at ease. Listens to you. Very responsive. Makes you feel comfortable. Take her time with you during your appointments. Doesn't rush you out.
Dr. Jirschele is wonderful, as is her staff. She is very sensitive to what you're going through.
Dr. Jerschele is empathetic, forthright, kind and thorough. She treats you like a human being and not just a surgical patient. She explains things really well in a down-to-earth manner. Her confidence gave me confidence and I have been delighted with the results so far. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Jerschele.
