I had a horrible experience at this salon, and unfortunately I cannot recommend it to anyone. Before coming in, I called twice to make sure they could do the type of perm I wanted. I came in knowing a perm can take around 2 hours, but I was there for almost 5 hours, which was already frustrating. When I arrived, I showed the stylist a picture of the curls I wanted. People are rude and pricing depends on what day you go in as it changes for the exact same services. Please ask for pricing before they render their service. "Under New York State regulations, beauty and appearance enhancement businesses are legally required to conspicuously post an itemized list of all services and their prices." This applies to you not just everyone else.

I have been coming to this salon on and off for years when I need a quick wash and blowout (and can’t get to my actual hairdresser). It usually fine. Nothing to write home about, but it does the job. Normally I am charged 30 dollars when anyone other than Kelly does my hair, and 35 dollars when she does it. Today, I had an appointment with Kelly. This place used to be good. Last few times I went in they completely chopped my hair up. Random uneven layers. The hair dresser seemed drunk and used dirty brushes on my hair. All they were concerned about was a tip.

My whole family has gone to this salon for over ten years, but my most recent experience was absolutely terrible. The hairdresser continuously yanked my head back with extreme force, made faces when I expressed that I was in pain, and complained that my hair is too long. I understand that long hair is more time-consuming to straighten, but it is not fair that I should have extreme neck pain because he was not in the mood to do my hair.
