Dr. Baker did irreparable harm to my family, specifically my kids. She was too focused on playing a role in the divorce proceedings and missed obvious opportunities to help my kid's dad with his bonding and parenting. She took sides and was very easily influenced by attorneys. If you work with her, she prefers to be treated as someone who knows everything and is very defensive/aggressive if she feels challenged (even if you are only asking for clarity or help). I've been an an ongoing and horrible custody case with my child and in the process, we have been through many therapists and professionals who eventually did nothing to help my child. Dr. Baker has shown herself to be an excellent therapist whom my child loves seeing, as well as professional and truly compassionate to her clients' needs. Dr. Baker helped my family through a terrible custody battle. She handled our case with professionalism and integrity at all times. She is strong enough to stand up to and see through people with personality disorders, master manipulators and emotional abusers and protect the interest of the children. Anyone bashing her on this site is clearly on the losing end of their custody battle and trying to tarnish her good name and reputation. Could not have done it without Kelley. Absolutely essential in fighting for the best protection for my children. She's thorough, sensitive and truly acts with the children's best interest and safety at all times. She will not be intimidated by Narcissistic bullying tactics. That is why she is so good.......and probably not liked by the Narcissists. They can't fool her.

Highly recommended Dr. Baker was professional, efficient, constructive and kept her sole focus on the child/ children's rights and best interest, not any other parties involved. She is dedicated and is not afraid to state the truth or make hard decisions when necessary.
I find Kelley Baker to be one of the worst in her field. She is more focused on results which make her look good over results which are good for her clients. She judges people harshly and makes quick decision without factoring in larger consequences. In addition, she charges you money without warning. If you fight her on her bill, she will charge for her time spent with you questioning her bills. Her billing person is surly, rude and completely incompetent at her job. Her recommendations have heightened conflict rather than minimize. She has not reduced harmful conflict which would be in the best interest for the children. She has not shown impartiality. In terms of her business practices, her invoicing and record keeping is inconsistent. She does not release records upon request.
The best Psychiatrist in Austin and surrounding areas, in my opinion, is Dr. Kelley Baker. Courtesy, patience, knowledge, experience and in the best interest of the patient are qualities Dr. Kelley Baker continually displays.
