I waited 2 and 1/2 hours for my appointment. Which came in she felt my finger and told me that it's most likely a torn tendon and that the doctor would have to either put a rod in my finger or perform surgery to fix the tendon. She then said I have to go and get another MRI I'm just a thumb, and then made an appointment for 1 month from that day. I saw NP Kellie Herrington a few months back for a fracture I have been trying to address without insurance while in between jobs. She was professional and addressed all our questions with empathy. I was told my fracture would definitely require surgery and I am in immediate danger for the fracture to become a disability and further damage. She referred me down the road to another hospital.
