Unfortunately, it seems the property management side of Anchor lacks effective communication and follow-through when it comes to resolving issues. The service was completed on August 26th, and we are now just two days shy of waiting two months to be paid, with no communication on when payment will be received. Don’t start an application unless 100% sure will be charged a fee of $75 as it was required to provide payment info before finishing half of the application. Never submitted the application and was refused a refund. Not a way to run a business! Application was halted as they don't disclose monthly pet fee on top of deposit or any other information until after you are required to provide payment at step 7/8 of the 12-step application process. Our experience after moving out was extremely disappointing. We followed all move-out requirements, including hiring and paying for professional carpet cleaning and pest control, and provided receipts to the property manager. Despite that, they attempted to charge us again for those same services and added several questionable cleaning fees that North Carolina law does not allow landlords to bill tenants for among various other charges.
