This is long. But there are lessons for you that I learned the hard way. I had to edit my posting in response to Masha's response that follows. Masha focus was primarily on closing the deal and collecting her commission, rather than fully representing my best interests. Based on what I experienced, perhaps Masha would be a better agent for houses above $1M. Just maybe. But maybe not. My home was $420K. I bought my house in March 2025. I had to respond to Masha's response. On the positive side, Masha was pleasant and knowledge. However, I feel her focus was primarily on closing the deal and collecting her commission, rather than fully representing my best interests. Based on what I experienced, I can possibly imagine Masha would be a better agent for houses above $1M. Mine was $420K. I bought my house in March 2025. I bought my house in March 2025. I had written an initial review right after the closing - back when you still don’t know what you don’t know. With more time and perspective, I now see things differently. It was my first time buying, and there was a lot I didn’t know. So, having the right agent was important. Masha is the best! Having bought and sold many homes over the years, in many states, with many different agents, I can honestly say we have never worked with anyone we trusted more, or were as impressed with, than Masha.
