I have never had such an awful tanning experience. Their point system, monthly dues, etc. is extremely hard to understand. I decided to just get one session because I wanted to shop around. But when I went into the room I realized why I will never go here again: I had to mess with the stereo forever because the buttons wouldn't work. Your tanning experience at Platinum Tans was how the staff should have done it. recommended via manufacture label time for first time users in that bed is 3 minutes for the first 3 visits, second week 7 minutes 3 times, 10 minuted 7th session to 10th. Ultimately, to receive a base tan can take up to 7 sessions but most see some color in a few. On another note the max time limit in the bed is 15 minutes. I walked in on a whim to tan for a wedding that I am in this weeeknd. Had to fill out this form, then I was asked if I wanted to purchase packages etc etc. Not knowing how it would go I purchased the middle of the road tan for 21.00. with tax it was a little over $26.00. After overhearing the owner/employee tell this woman there is "no way you can tan the full 15 minutes with virgin skin and not burn." I decided to go ten minutes.
