After 10 years of being one of Dr. Blackwell's patients, I consider him an incredible person and specialist. What him and his always excellent staff provide is the absolute best care while pushing the limits of what is considered possible. He's reasonable and kind, sharper than a razor, and uses his decades of expertise to perform, and also teach how to perform, miraculous feats of head and neck reconstruction which normalize, improve, and save peoples' lives.
Maybe he’s nice?! I wouldn’t know because impossible to get in touch with anyone in his office. I tried calling about five times to make an appointment. Every time I call, except once, I get a message, saying the volume of calls are too high, leave a message, and they will get back to you. NEVER got a call back. Holistic surgeon who tells you exactly what you are dealing with and why. Saved my life or at a minimum my quality of life. Professional and accessible for you and your family when questions arise. Other doctors I consulted before having stage four cancer surgery said I had the best doctor in LA for my situation
