Taken for a ride – I went to Dr. Yount because my dentist referred me to him. My dentist told me he did not know what was wrong with me and felt very confident that Dr. Yount could solve my problem. I was experiencing pain unlike I had ever had before in my teeth and jaw. I had even saw a sinus specialist who ruled out sinus involvement and referred me back to my dentist. Dr. Yount-competent, friendly and affordable – Dr. Yount has patient care always at the front of his mind. His office staff is friendly and he does excellent work in providing a multiplidisciplinary approach to pain management. He did the very best to ensure costs stayed down too. There is even a "pay-it-forward" program: fifty dollars is deducted for every hour spent doing community service! He demands that patients take initiative in caring for themselves. Not what I expected... – If you are considering seeing Keith Yount at raleigh facial pain services for TMJ, keep in mind he only "oversees" and "directs" care that physical therapists, and other practitioners give you...He is extremely expensive. All he would do at appointments is would ask questions like.."hows physical therapy going" and "are the medications working" and "hang in there!".
