We hired Keil Construction to repair and restore our staircase that was probably just under a 100 years old. The staircase had a wobble and was a bit shaky. In our walk-through Mr. Keil knew immediately what needed to be done to secure the staircase (mind you that multiple contractors had looked at this staircase and most were in the favor of a complete reconstruction). I hired Keil Construction for a complete row home renovation in SE DC. We took the house down to the bricks, built it out, dug out a basement, added a roof deck. Bottom line is that not only would I never hire Jeff to renovate another home, but I would never buy a home I know he had renovated. The only reason I feel comfortable one day selling my house to someone is that I was on site every single day pointing out all the errors and making him fix them. Keil Construction renovated our kitchen and two baths, installed a new heating and cooling system, installed new flooring throughout, and rewired our house. They worked on every room. Now, we wake up every morning to what feels like a brand new, yet familiar home. We’d rehire Keil Construction without hesitation.
