Everyone says to get the mutton but don't overlook choosing to sit downstairs over sitting upstairs. The downstairs has much more charm and rambunctiousness of an NYC steakhouse.
Cool spot with a lot of history! Would probably skip unless you plan on ordering the mutton, which was great and is what they’re known for.
Filet and roasted vegetables the best. The Bananas Foster was amazing
My friends wanted steaks. I'm vegan. They have amazing side dishes, perfect for vegans!
mutton chop is indeed fantastic, as is the creamed spinach. service was impeccable all around, and they do a great job of preserving the old school classic vibe
