I have been treated here for my voice issues and have been happy thus far. My Dr and I are still in the process of trying to figure out the best treatment for me. When I first went in at the beginning of the year, I had to physically use a lot of effort for my voice to work. Now It's about 70% better. Not quite perfect but I'm confident we will get there.
I was the victim of a billing scam perpetrated by Dr. O'Dell and USC Keck ENT. Dr. O'Dell brought a voice specialist into the examination room BEFORE she had examined me. I thought the specialist (Kacie La Forest) was a student -- I was definitely not told she would be an additional fee. After my laryngoscopy (which I did schedule and gladly paid for), Dr. O'Dell then left me with Ms. La Forest, where I was subjected to a high pressure and unethical upsell of her services.
