Dr. Payanal was gracious enough to assist me with my health issue even though she doesn't accept my insurance plan. She couldn't accept me as a regular patient but she gave me very sound medical advice and the right contacts for my long-term ongoing medical issues. I would definitely go back to her if my insurance covered her services. She puts the CARE in medical care
Don’t get me wrong I used to love this doctor but somewhere along the way it changed. First the staff, The medical assistant is very rude. Not someone you want to go to if you’re feeling sick. She made me feel like I was taking up her time being there. Also when I switched doctors and called for my medical records to be transferred she again made it seem like it was a hassle and gave me such a hard time my new doctor now had to request it instead. Dr. Payanal is a truly gifted Dr. She was my Dr. In her residency. She took care of me for 3yrs. Before she moved to the present place and I moved back to the mainland. I miss her care and her treatment. She saw me through some difficult times and I will never forget her.
