We are one of many Kansas City barbeque restaurants around the city but unlike most we still serve barbeque in that true KC tradition. And by Kansas City tradition we simply mean that we are preparing our barbeque and food products today as it has been done in the midwest for over 100 years! Overall, simplicity is the key word in our operation. To this day, the atmosphere and cooking methods have virtually remained unchanged, evoking a pleasant step back in time and memories of fantastic BBQ.

RecommendedGreat BBQ for a good price! Pulled pork with the sweet sauce was fantastic. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
The trucker special was delicious. The full rack of ribs were just fall of the bone tender. Mac and cheese is creamy and for desert the chocolate pie was perfect! Will definitely come back if in the area!
the ribs are alot better now back to the way they use to be.. cajun potato salid is the best.

The ribs were excellent, done the right way. Two reasons to give it a 4 star is mine were a little on the cool side of warm. Second few side choices green beans were ok but would h.g.h ave loved some greens.
Amazing BBQ here in Oak Grove! Fall of the bone ribs, tender meats, delicious made from scratch sides and BBQ sauces x3! Service was super friendly and fast. Definitely would make the drive to come again!
I'm a truck driver, and I'm always looking for places with, great food, within walking distance of trucks stops. KC BBR is a definite must stop, again and again.
