If you had the privilege of experiencing how (black) hair salons were in the 90s & early 00s, you'd understand why Kayla is such a gem. The only difference is that you can expect your appointment time will be honored, she will have you in and out as soon as reasonably possible, while not compromising on quality or style. & her prices are very reasonable. I've been consistently been going to KB hair studios since December of 2024 and probably will follow her where ever she goes ! The salon its self is clean, has a nice esthetic to it and easily accessible .

Kayla has been my stylist for 2 years and has transformed my natural hair. Not only does my silk press look amazing after every visit, but it has grown to be healthier and easy to maintain. I went to KB for an initial press. I have 4c hair that i straighten max once per year. KB was super professional and took such good care of my hair, walking me through every step and recommending product types best suited for my hair porosity type (which she also taught me about during my visit). Before the cut (which the service included) she consulted with me and informed me of the healthiest cut but also wanted to ensure my comfort with how much to cut before she started.
